Mariners fans should be happy they don't have the Monfarts for owners. Trade generational talent in Nolan Arenado for the Gomber , and 3 other low end propects. Paid part of Nolan's salary too. The Monfort's only attribute is they take care of Coor's Field. Opened in 1995, it still is one of the top 5 in Baseball. They also built a Hotel/office development across from Coors Field that is very nice. But they don't spend money on quality additions like top pitchers, and they pick up oft hurt batters from other teams. When in all seriousness, the best batters in baseball should want to hit for the Rockies at Coors. By the way, the best pitchers in baseball have no problems pitching at Coors. The Rockies just haven't drafted great pitchers, or developed any. The pitchers that they have acquired have been junk ballers. They end up being juggs machines at Coors. Fireballers do great there.
Gomber has potential with his stuff. It he's gotta get better command of his secondary pitches. He left a TON of hangers to mariners batters. His fastball has good movement. I like the Rockies for whatever reason but man their pitching has ALWAYS been the problem. Even when they went to the WS.
Good ol' slumpbuster. Did that at 23 cuz I was in a RUT. She was sub 200, but not a looker at all. That being said, I was dating an LA 7 in a couple weeks after. It works.
I'm developing a serious man crush with JK. I'm trying not to get excited and think he's figured it all out, but it's getting difficult now.
He is really coming into his own. Happy for him. He has had his low points in the bigs for sure. And the power he has is real, nobody can dispute that.
