    Just made 16 servings of cole slaw. Got flag shorts on. Saw a woman wearing a Stars and Stripes hijab at Target. That is my 4th of July report so far.

    I love the 4th. We had grilled hamburgers, potato salad, baked beans, potato chips, lemonade, coke, Walla Walla sweets, lettuce, tomato, pickel, thousand island dressing grilled sesame buns, strawberries, watermelon, and ice cream. I'm stuffed.

    Watched a 1959 biography of John Paul Jones.

    Lots of fire works in this town but I'm just a bit too disabled to make it to either one. The kids on the high school across the street will probably keep me up all night with fire crackers.

    Update: There was karaoke. I was asked to start things off. WTF I said. Katy Perry Firework sounds thematic. Why not? Never voluntarily sing Katy Perry. Lesson learned.

    I thought that about Obama and Bush!
    My feeling is everything is so polarized now with far lefties & righties getting all the media buzz that people that are moderates, independents or libertarians will slide more to the center as things are really heated and deep down Im not sure that's what Americans really want.
    The left coast is so outnumbered it doesnt really matter how we think, the mid west, south and SE (where all the population is) will more than likely grow be more energized against the left than ever. The left coast and NE will also become more progressive than ever. A viable third party, Libertarians will go more so imo.

    Good times for this snowflake........tofu steaks, grilled sweet potatoes, quinoa salad backed up by a kale Caesar salad, all washed down with copious quantities of kombucha. And every bit of the meal organic. I’ve never felt so patriotic or American......those right wing, conservative beasts had better watch out.
