I don't get this whole border wall deal. Wouldn't it be a lot more efficient just to conquer Mexico? A wall between Mexico and Guatemala/Belize would be a lot shorter to build.
I think it's more than a talking point. It's a legitimate public policy question. When Reagan worked with congress to pass an amnesty deal, it gave legal status to around 3.5 million people. In the nearly 30 years since then, another 11 to 12 million people have entered the country illegally. Certainly it raises public policy concerns. What's dumb is that both sides aren't working together to come up with a reasonable plan to establish legal status for those who are here and are productive and not committing crimes, while figuring out a way to limit new illegal immigration.
The best solution would be to annex Canada and Mexico, make heroin and crack legal there and all the junkies will move there as well as the dealers..problem solved.

Nope, link all the train tracks from California through Nevada and the SW United States with Mexico. Build however many thousands of old fashioned hand pump powered train carts it takes to complete the circle and load them on here and make them pump their way home. No emissions, liberals can get on board. (Literally, they can go too) This was a joke by the way.
