...well, for one, in game 6, if Torre had not benched Lofton who had many bunt singles in his career, he would have likely made Schilling and his "bloody sock" very uncomfortable by making Schilling use that bad ankle...in fact, Torre didn't have any of his players bunt against Schilling in that game.
^^^Yeah, I remember after game 4 just being a little ticked off that the Yanx didn't sweep Boston, especially after the game 3 blow out...but I also remember after losing game 5, thinking "Uhh Oh". ...I only mentioned game 6 as a replay to the poster who brought up Tom Gordon's name.
