How disasterous was this game for Thibodeau?

I don't buy it that Thibs doesn't know what it takes to be a head coach. It's not like he was some announcer given a head coaching job (or GM job). He's been around a lot of great head coaches, in the huddle during games, and in practices.

He's been frantic as of late, and Friday was a complete and utter meltdown. I think he may be a good coach, and perhaps, probably will get this team where it needs to go. You can't argue with what you see on the court.

The fans had a right to boo that Bozer broke his hand? I don't necessarily agree with but can't discount booing the home team in other than clear lack of effort situations but the "right to boo" scenario in this case seems even more askew. Really?

Well, my point was that the other MAX cap space guy/guys are expected to be a lot better than they're showing. Hence they get booed for basically sucking.

How's he know for stuff like that? He's only coached a handful of pro games?

    That's not frantic.

This is kind of Frantic... but not quite

I didn't think he went totally nuts or anything. They were in it to the end, and aside from the utterly craptacular play of the bench (I want to take back everything nice I said about JJ), seemed pretty solid. The start of the 2nd quarter was enough to drive me a little nuts though

I don't know exactly where I was going there... can anyone photoshop a mustache on Thibs for me?

Sorry, I meant to say Thursday -- and my comments were only directed toward Thibodeau. Friday was fine. He got Rose right up off the bench a couple minutes after he sat him.

In regard to the booing, I think the point being missed is the fans were not booing the play. The Bulls were fighting the entire game. The fans were booing Thibodeau (hence "We want Rose.") This is only time in my life I've seen the fans chanting for a move in mass that wasn't ironic in nature. I think it was spectacular!

What I mean is that he's always been known as a guy who can't manage his players personalities. He's always been a great x and o guy, but supposedly he talks to and treats the players like they are a high school team.
