    1. Move out and find a better place to live for your own sanity. Living in an apartment below somebody can be an absolute hell.

    2. Don't care what other people post about the Blazers in the game threads. You have the choice to ultimately put someone on ignore if they bother you that much.

    3. Think of activities you enjoy and do them often. Enjoy life as much as you can, buddy!

Personally, I let it drive me and struggle against it consuming me. I know that's not for everyone. I'm sorry that you're there right now. Idaho does sound fun.

Work harder, if you got time to realize exactly how fucked you are, or wallow in your misery, it’s never good. Nose down, and work. Look up when you are in your happy place.

And blow some money, or dudes.

If you're not a famous musician by now you are blowing the wrong dudes...or there are better musicians that already blew those same dudes.

    Positive immersion.

I immerse myself in online multiplayer gaming with a podcast playing in the background.

    Totally divert your attention.

A good set of noise-cancelling headphones, wireless if possible to listen to music / tv when you are in the house - and some kind of stuff that gets you out of the house when you can (I love to go hiking / exploring, but I understand it is not for everyone and can be hard with Portland's weather unless you like being wet).

    Listen to her live content. She is incredible. If that is not your cup tea then I recommend this;

Edit: Maybe listen on Pandora, Spotify, etc so you can immerse yourself in the music. With headphones or without.

Check whether your neighbor is dribbling a ball up there. Do what I do--impress them all with your basketball acumen. Notice how everyone on this board is afraid of me? Just knock on your neighbor's door and yell, "Layman's dribbling is almost as good as Aminu's! What do you think of that, punk??"

Realize not only are there people within a mile of you right now who are dying, homeless, addicted, crippled, unloved, ugly, starving, or just plain stupid.

You weren’t born in Somalia, don’t live under Communism (yet) .

In America you have choices for your life.

Move. Your environment determines much of your life.

We both quit our jobs, took out a loan on our car and moved to Beautiful Central Oregon 17 years ago and have never regretted it.

Even just moving to a house versus apartment would be a good start.

Honestly, I pray but I know thats not for everyone.

The other go-to’s for me tend to be working, especially coding if I can find some project to work on in a code editor thats a great moment for me.
The other is to look at pictures of my kids, and my extended family, always helps me recenter my emotional state.
Hope you find something that works for you.
