Would have been nice to see LA stay in portland though they have the squad that can win it all if they could have just found there beat but ehhhh
Idk man it could be really good for them if they learn to play together i see a chip for them next year if things go how they want it with LA
I think when the Duncan ship sail, Pop will soon follow. Aldridge will be left wondering what the fuck just happened
Ill give timmy 2 more years and thats highballing pops gone when tims gone also But he still has KL who is the future of that team so in all reality he will still come in behind someone KL is young and has so much room to grow LA is 30 now time to start smelling the roses that his superstar days are going to come to a halt soon
Funny, this is exactly what came to my mind after I saw they were getting West for the vet min. They lost alot of depth though so next season will be challenging for them for sure.
Don't hate the playa hate the game. The Spurs did things the right way and came out massive winners this summer. No hate here although I do hope pop gets the selfish aldridge.
I really do question how this is going to work. If he doesn't completely change his thought process/ego. He wouldn't even meet with Damian to discuss returning, it makes me really wonder how much of a team player he is. I guess we'll see if he can set aside his ego for the good of the team and if Pop will be able to get him in line. Maybe he needs some tough love to bring out the best in him.
I don't hate them because they signed Aldridge. I just have never really been a fan. With that said, I do think that they are a great team though.
I see this said all the time, and it's complete bullshit. They absolutely tanked the 1998 season to get Duncan, and have been living off that cheap move ever since. They invented tanking, and the rest of the league has been paying for it by having to watch 5-8 teams do that every year and put a subpar product on the floor.
