I've been the overly aggressive debater also at times. And I have had reasonable (somewhat) debates with Mags, he just doesn't always listen to the point being made. But that too might be a case of 'pot meet kettle'. It's the way of the internet. We can't easily pick up on cues as to if the other person in mocking or discussing. They often look similar in writing, and so people assume the worst and what starts out as a good conversation devolves into a squabble based primarily on misunderstandings due to lack of physical cues.
