    lol
    T-Wolves in the playoffs?
i think not..unless they make a big trade (Wally for someone) They have noone to back up KG instead of Wally..

This is what the west should look like:

    1) Spurs
    2) Kings
    3) Suns
    4) Houston
    5) Denver
    6) Mavs
    7) Sonice
    8) It is between the Lakers and the Sonics (Matters how Kwame Brown does and how Phil Jackson manages his team) and if Baron is able to stay healthy.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Trip:</div><div class="quote_post">There is no way the Rockets can be third. The top 3 spots are for the 3 division winners and if the Spurs are in the top 3, the best we can be is fourth seed in the West.</div>

    completly forgot about that

The Warriors are going to be a good team, but when your center is Adonal Foyle, you defiinitely will not be the second best team in the Western Conference. Their chances of beating out Phoenix and Sacramento are very low and their best possible position for the playoffs will be something from 6-8th seed.

Seatle is not even going to make it! Do you guys really think they can beat or be any better then these teams down here? I know for a fact they can't beat Utah since everyone is back and healthy and with the addition of Deron Williams and devin brown and a healthy AK47 and Boozer they are going to be tough to defeat... Seatle can't even beat Memphis, even their lineup got stronger with the addition of Bobby jackson, eddie jones and Damon Stadmire. SO NO WAY THEY ARE NOT GOING TO MAKE IT, they are missing key pieces to their winning team last year such as Forstson and daniels who were major contributors to the team. and no way in Hell are they gonna beat Denver, Sac, Mavs or the team above them. EVEN THE Clippers has a better chance!

    Spurs
    Rockets
    Sac
    Suns
    Mavs
    Denver
    Utah
    Memphis

I can't beleive half of you guys have the Warriors making the playoffs, but leave out the Kings and the Lakers. Teams that made the playoffs last year but might not this year are the Sonics and that's about it. Everyone else is pretty solid. The kings reloaded with SAR, and Bonzi wells, they won't be great but with Bibby, Peja, Wells, Sar in the starting lineup it looks pretty good. As always no defense...they are basically a poor mans dallas mavericks.

As for the Lakers, they have a good shot at making it simply with the retun of Phil, and the trade for Kwame. They don't have a true point gaurd, but they do have Lamar Odom most likely playing back at his natural position of SF instead of PF like last year. Look for them to swoop the 6th, 7th, or 8th spot. As for the rockets going top 3, not happening. I see them in the 4th or 5th spot. It'd be fun to see the Lakers right behind the rockets, 5 & 6 so we could see Tmac and Kobe go at it for 7 games in the first round.

yeah right, has everyone forgot about the kings or something? not being biased, but how do people leave them out? Thats just stupid, the kings will make the playoffs and will be as good as the rockets in the regular season but rockets will go further in the playoffs. Easily

^I guess we dont really care about much but where the rockets end up. The lakers probably wont play us so it doenst matter where they end up, and that could be same to some people with sac. I would expect the rockets to matchup with the kings though in the first round. They made big steps last season and the only way i see them not playing us is if they take the division. Second round i see us going against obviously SA. Hopefully there will be a surprise there.

I agree, I dont understand how you guys keep thinking the mavs are going to do better than the kings in the season
    look at their line ups

    bibby
    wells
    peja
    SAR
    miller

    terry
    daniels
    howard
    nowtizki
    dampier

The only thing mavs have over the kings is the kill, rape, and bury the kings in depth
but the starting line ups r better.
when u have keith van horn, jerry stackhouse, and devin harris coming of the bench then you have depth

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Run BJM:</div><div class="quote_post">1. Spurs
    2. Nuggets
    3. Suns
    (top in each division)
    4. Rockets
    5. Nuggets
    6. Warriors
    7. Mavericks
    8. Lakers

For some reason I dont see the Mavs doing that well next season, losing Finley and relying on Dirk for leadership isnt going to be for the better IMO.</div>
I just noticed that I put the Nugs twice.

My updated standings (the others were from quite a while ago)

    1. Spurs
    2. Nuggets
    3. Suns
    4. Rockets
    5. Mavericks
    6. Warriors
    7. Kings
    8. Jazz

Top 3 are division leaders so no explanaion really necessary. Rockets and Mavs are where the consensus says they should. I put the Warriors 6th because I think the Kings will continue to have injury problems and they dont have much depth. I've got a good feeling about the Jazz but the Lakers could very well take their spot. Minnesota hasn't upgraded at all and I dont see them doing much this season.

i dont know if you were being biased with putting rockets at 1 spot but you never know what happens during the season
    as for spots 6-8
the kings are better than the lakers, clippers, and warriors
clipps have a very good team now but they will battle for 8th seed with GS.
seattle is also better than the lakers
