How far can we fall before playoffs are an afterthought?

I feel the same way. I think it makes the games we win MORE satisfying. When you expect to win you don't really get that excited after a victory, but you sure do get mad when they lose. The Grizzlies game the other night was heart breaking because we had an 8 point lead with less than 4 minutes and had fought so hard, but I was proud of our guys for how hard they battled. How can you be mad about that? On the other hand, if they had blown that game at full strength earlier in the year I'd probably be calling out so-and-so for whatever mistake(s) I've had a lot of fun watching this team over the last 3 weeks.

Sweet. You once again crown yourself the master of the exception and not the rule. I stand by both my comment about MIXUM and about you.

Apparently MIXUM is under the impression that other teams we're competing with for the playoffs will have no tough periods in their schedules and no injuries to deal with. Yup, if we lose to the Lakers and Cavs, it's all over even though there will be more than half a season left to play, the Blazers will still be five games over .500, and we'll be getting more players back as time goes on. Oh, and by the way, he originally told us the season would be over in December when the Blazers faced their long road trip.

I don't normally say things like this, but guys like MIXUM are the reason that the words "dip" and "shit" were originally combined.

Not something I normally engage in, but I'll attribute it to sheer annoyance due to continuous posts that at their root are insulting to the Blazers, Blazer management, and other people who post here.

Frankly, if you have to ask, you haven't been paying attention.

I am pretty sure that MIXUM's reference to "i didnt expect the fans to bail on the season like lots of have" is name calling as well...

When someone chooses to throw feces - one should expect some to end in his face as well...
