I think its very helpful for young players to get their playing time on a decent team. When a young guy is on a terrible team he can learn bad habits and he doesn't experience effective teamwork. So I'd rather see the Blazers play to win and give the young guys minutes here or there. Barton played a bunch of minutes at the end of last season when we tanked and I don't think that type of experience in any way benefits a player. It often hinders their development.
