How many of you collect cards?

I dont collect, but I got two Penny Hardaway cards(one from Memphis St. and one from Orlando) and a rookie Allen Iverson card.

 

I love collecting them. I have over 500. :dribble: I have cards going back to at least about 1980.

 

I use to collect - then just sold them to some store for mad $$$$

If I went and bought those 3-5 buck packs and waited 30 years you think I could get some decent money off of them? I got that one card that supposedly was signed by Carmelo Anthony. I never collected basketball cards, always baseball. Although, one time I bought a pack of strictly MJ things from UD aftering seeing a book at Barnes & Noble on how much his stuff is worth.Who would have thought a Space Jam movie poster with him on it would be worth $40?!?!?!

 

I have a ton of baseball cards especially, but also some basketball and others. I have a signed Rod Carew card.I wish I had a signed Melo card though, that's cool Nasser.

 

I used to do that MLB Showdown...did anyone ever do that?

Same here. I have a ridiculous amount of cards though, I'm talking thousands. I haven't collected cards for a couple years now, and I'm happy that I stopped. Although, I have bought a couple cards for cheap off e-bay a couple times. I have a pretty good amount of game used cards.

 

I still have my pokemon, yuigioh and basketball cards (along with some other sports). I've spenda fair bit of money on them all and use/collect any of them anymore.

I used to save my lunch money in elementary school so I could buy 2 packs of pokemon cards per week.
