It’s not comparable at all. Weinstein didn’t ask for consent. Weinstein put these girls under contract and then had his team follow up with them. Louis C.K. while what he did wasn’t right asked for consent in all cases and then jerked off in front of girls. Didn’t physically touch them or anything. This was before he was a comedic superstar too
Uhhh that’s not what the pizza gate shit was about but alright. But yeah I would say it shows some truth with politicians and what has come out.
For the most part I agree, but the reason I asked the question is I want to know how people react before all the information is flushed out? So, for Roy Moore we have a bunch of accusers who mostly have similar stories. There were 30 corroborating interviews prior to the release of the story to make sure that these women told their stories well before now. So, there was lots of information with which to quickly discern that even if one or two of the accusations were lies or overblown, enough was still there that he is a piece of shit. Same with Weinstein. But, what about the stories of people who we find out they settled some lawsuit but we have no idea what that suit really was? or What about Al Franken who the accusation was a lesser offense? What about the next accusation? There were women who falsely claimed sexual molestation stories regarding Roy Moore to MSNBC and the WAPO but those were not reported because the news agencies flushed out that they were actually BS stories being done by Roy Moore supporters as a means to discredit the other stories. Some of those crackpots will get through. I think we as a nation need to step back a little bit and not jump to the side of the accuser or the accused so quickly but instead wait and see what follow-uo stories come. We don't need to wait till litigation to make up our minds, but we should wait for a few days in almost all cases to give the news agencies due diligence to elucidate any falsehoods or truths that need to be sussed out.
I’m also kinda on this side. I feel like if it’s multiple women, the accused man probably has some bad odds. However I don’t want this to get to the point where men are just automatically labeled creeps or rapists when one woman comes along with no evidence and just a statement. There are plenty of cases where innocent guys have gotten fucked over that type of issue. Unfortunately people do this all the time. All the facts don’t come out but people just believe it and I don’t understand it
This reminds me of a remotely related story about a guy and girl I worked with who were cheating on their spouses with each other. They worked day shift together but often worked overtime on my shift. Frankie and Howard were their names. They'd been having the affair for a long time and one day got caught kissing at work by my supervisor. We knew they were going to get written up for it. A couple of days go by and Howard got fired. The next time Frankie was on our shift we asked her why he got fired and she didn't. She said they were going to write them both up for kissing at work but Frankie told them Howard was making a pass at her and kind of assaulted her. We asked her why the fuck she would lie about it and her answer was this...."I wanted to break it off with him anyway and I have kids to support and I can't lose this job"

I just said take away a lot of pizzagate though I do think tony podesta and the spirit cooking shit is pretty weird. That was proven through the leaked podesta emails. I just think it revealed a bigger picture being that these politicians in high places are doing this shit behind closed doors and it’s spilled out with evidence quite a few times.

If nothing else, they cheated on their wives. If you'll lie to your soulmate, you'll lie to anybody. Kind of hampers your credibility as a source of truth.
I'm stoked by the whole thing. This should result in a nearly complete draining of the swamp. Too late to put the cat back in the bag about the slush fund. Once the list of names of hush money payoffs is revealed, we will have the opportunity to flush the system and refill it with new people. A real chance to have a say in our immediate future. As a side benefit, because of Bill Clinton's crimes of adultery and rape now being considered bad form by liberals, people are now willing to re-examine the Clintons other crimes as a side benefit.
