Ever since the Lakers traded Shaq (a thank-you would be nice), the power in the west has mainly been with the Spurs. It should stay there for at least the next two years I would think, that is of course until Jerry Buss puts together the next Laker Dynasty

This year I don't think the Spurs have too good of a chance at even making it to the finals much less winning it their team chemistry this season hasn't been what it usually is in years past where at this team they are on a roll. The Spurs will win another championship but their team is getting old so they are either going to have two trade some players to get youth or go to the draft and actually get someone that can come straight from college to the NBA(Ian Mahimi is still in Europe)
