Bosh has played better than I thought. His rebounding is down but his turnover rate and scoring efficiency have made up for it.

So yes genius haters, looks like James has the best numbers as always, especially against top defenses. Suck it, his usage rate is highest on the team so far as well.

Heat are ranked first so far, adjusted for schedule. :]

Their biggest competition supposedly, LA, is an atrocious defensive team. I think Boston matches up better with Miami than LA, but I think they'll still lose according to the regressions I'm seeing above. LA didn't do too hot against Cleveland last year anyway, and Orlando has had problems on the perimeter in the past.

Boston/New Orleans will be interesting to observe, both have the right defensive make-up.

I thought Mike Miller was the best.

I still think it'll be Heat / Hawks ECF.

I'd be scared if they face the Celtics in the ECF.

What did the blog say about the Cavaliers' expected record?

Cleveland is 5-6 on their way to a projected 20 win season.

So much for the blog being accurate.

So much for the heat hype, getting owned by boston's old team already. Celts and Lakers in the finals again, proper classy teams.

Nation Undecided On Whether It Hates Celtics Or Lakers More

WASHINGTON—The NBA Finals have thrown the nation's basketball fans into a state of angry confusion this week, as the bitter debate over whether they despise the Celtics or Lakers more rages on. "Kobe is such an egotistical prick that it's really easy to detest the Lakers, especially with that clenched-jaw face he makes, but come on—you have to hate the Celtics because the Big Three are so much more fucking annoying," said Jeff Connor, a St. Louis native. "I'll admit that I can't stand Pau Gasol, just because the guy rubs me the wrong way, maybe due to his disgusting greasy hair. Phil Jackson is a pretty huge asshole with all that loud whistling he does, but Rondo is the most irritating little shit, and I loathe that fat sweaty hog Glen Davis. Ray Allen is actually okay. That dick Kevin Garnett, though, is a chest-pounding idiot." After much discussion, a consensus appears to be near, as Americans are agreeing to hate the Lakers and Celtics equally.

5-7 you mean? They're on pace to win 34 games... Lol.

The blogger usually predicts the playoffs correctly as well, way to blow your load on that one. :]

Very careless of you, since the Lakers lost to this elite team 3 times in the Finals, almost 4. What is your point? Lol.

Fact is when Wade stops choking at Kobe Game 7 level, Miami will beat any team. It took one of the worst games I've ever seen from him to lose. And at the end of the season, we'll see how well those old legs hold up in LA and Boston.

What happens when a franchise throws "Championship like" celebrations before a season starts? The injury bug! Miller, Haslem, and possibly Wade.. 8 - 5 record so far. Karma is bitch ain't it.

Ignorant people picked them to win more than 72 games.....

Every one on the Heat wagon including ESPN gotta realized that this team has a lot to prove to even be called contenders...their roster its noly good enough to be at a 4 - 5 seed....plus they lack the size to match agasint the glorious Lakers and annoying Celtics.

After a couple of years and after Kobe retires they'll have the chance to win a championship or two...

Side note: Is it just me or every time Wade is out of the game and LeBron is handleling the ball is like watching the Cavs? Even the ESPN announcers called them the Cleveland Heat. LOL What a JOKE!

The so called "Elite team" isn't so Elite, they lost to the grizzlies last night. You're right ESPN must be upset because they were the ones riding on the Heat wagon before the action even started, they had crowned theses primadonna chumps, the hype train is losing some steam now, expect some plastic or temporary heat fans to switch supporting LA or Boston again soon...lol

Losing to the pacers @ home by almost 20 points must be the trademark of an elite team, right?....lol. Wade and Sidekick's are already folding early in the season.

Two things i consider my self an expert: Boxing and NBA...which brings me to this tought Miami Heat lack size, defense and now a lack of leadership...why wasnt LBJ or Wade at post conference?

Oh wait because they are the best 8-6 team in the NBA.

Heat suck...already frantically trying to get old stiffs for the middle. Pat Riley is gonna take over soon and that wont help enough.

The Heat still doing that spotlight intro with Phil Collins in the background or was that just opening night? That was ridiculous

Wade isn't even LeBron's sidekick, he's not even playing at an All-Star level and choker Kobe has played better this season.

Dude I'm going to feast on you, Wade is playing like trash so please shut up already about him being batman or a leader because that's just funny. You're annoying and one of the least intelligent Laker fans here.

Hey buddy, Wade was 1/13 and his chokage doesn't make him close to the best player on the team. Him gagging against the Celtics twice, or otherwise known as elite defenses, doesn't help either.

Damn well you're an expert in neither. You're a bandwagon fan that likes to bother other bandwagon fans. :)
