Nurkic simply because his potential is higher than whiteside and 5 years younger

Whiteside is the better player but you know what, I'd still take Nurkic. He fits into this organization, perfectly. Talented but frustrated player looking for a new start. Doesn't want the limeight but just wants the right situation. He's the guy who sticks with this franchise for a decade. I've often thought the Blazers should ask persspective draft picks a series of questions to find out I'd they'll stick in the NW. We dont need the best we need a perfect fit.

Murk fits here better then the other two with his passing and scoring on the low box.

Whiteside is a better defender and rim protector than Nurk, but overall? Yah, I'll take Nurk. Nurk doesn't dominate any one area, but he's also capable at everything on a basketball court.

I was reading an article (http://m.gazette.com/klee-as-nugget...rkic-deserves-an-introduction/article/1540390) about Nurkic his rookie season and Brian Shaw compared his hands to Horace Grant and said that part of his game was "special." Same article quoted a scout saying Nurk was further along than Marc Gasol at the same age.

    And Howard? Lol.

I can't wait to walk into Pepsi Center wearing a red and black Nurkic jersey.

Those lakers fans were massive assholes who were saying some shit to cousins. They deserved to get their ass kicked, and got off easy with a "S a D"

I'd take cousins if we were guaranteed to have him as long as we will have Nurk.

Cousins is really trying to make it work in NO. As good as Nurk is, he's not yet at Cousins' level. Can he get there? I think so, but if we are guaranteed either for the duration of dame and CJ's prime then I will take the player that is currently the best.

Edit: But if Nurk keeps playing like this it would be hard to take anyone else just based off the fact that we see what a good fit he is.

Nurk. I think he's a more versatile player, a terrific fit, a great teammate, younger, cheaper (for now) and importantly, not a head case.

I can't believe I almost voted for Whiteside. So glad he didn't sign here. We wouldn't have traded for Nurk.

I'd go with Nurk just because he's the only one of the three who has potential to be a true franchise two-way center. And his greatest skill, the pick-and-roll, is the perfect pairing with Lillard.

Not really. There are better post scorers. There are better post defenders. There are better shooters. There are better shot blockers. But there aren't many that are capable at everything like Nurkic. I can only think of three; Gasol, Cousins, and KAT. That's some company to be in.

And of course they all have to be in the West. WTF! At least one needs traded East asap so Nurkic can be an All-Star down the road.
