No clue where exactly this is heading yet, but we are definitely filled with anxiety here in Tallahassee. If I die, @Chris Craig gets my book collection. I leave my record collection and music gear to @riverman. I leave my self-recorded VHS tapes to @THE HCP (you'll know why when you see them).
We stocked up on bottled water today and we noticed people had bought significant amounts of every brand, aside from one: Dasani. Apparently, even hurricane preppers won't touch it. That is my new nickname for the Florida Governor: Ron Dasani.
How about you make some nice products out of the Alligator that will most likely feed on my carcass. A new hobby for you.
Praying for you this morning, Pruney. If you still have active internet service, please check in periodically and let us know if you're OK.
The storm rolled through just to the east of us like I was hoping. We had some nice tropical storm force winds and rain, but more in line with a strong summer thunderstorm. Really glad the storm tracked east. The biggest worry here were the very large trees all around our house, and everything is still standing. I appreciate all of the love.
Storm is now about 60 miles SE of us and moving NE at a fast clip...3" rain so far and 35 mph wind gusts...looks like we got lucky.
