This poor play might lower his value. Thus,(hopefully) we will get more bang for our buck once he is healthy next season. If he and his agent do not back down to a lower offer, I say use some or all of that money that we would have used on Krstic on Diop and perhaps other free agents instead.

Nenad Kristic when healthy is one of the best centers in the Eastern conference. The dude is barely playing at 40% right now. He was rushed into coming back and shouldn't have been. Granted, he shouldn't be playing right now but it seems like the blame shouldn't go on Nenad but the evaluations of the trainers and coaching staff. People honestly thought he'd be ready to go 100% this year? He'll be back next year, not with NJ though, and he'll prove everybody wrong. Good player, bad situation, bad time.</div> he was not rushed into coming back at all, he even got a few weeks off to mentally prepare. when krstic is healthy and confident, he's good money but he's regressing every game and his mental state seems to be at an all time low
i say he resigns a one year deal here and see what he can do, then we'll talk money but do not overpay this summer on an uncertain idea

You're taking his numbers out of context and forget that he was out for a year and a half with a torn ACL, and that this year's numbers were also put up while he was rushed back too soon. You don't like the fact that he doesn't race up the court like a gazell, as if all players should be athletic freaks. You don't like that he's balding Step away from your keyboard. You're making such a big fool out of yourself that I'M getting embarassed.
I'd try to defend Krstic, but he has about a foot advantage of me in the post. It'd be totally unfair, I mean, a game up to what, 11? He'd definitely win, like 11-4. Cause I'd get lucky sooner or later.

It could be that THRONikipedia doesn't want to take the risk with him, or wants to sign him to a cheap 3-4 year deal. That way, in case Krstic goes back to his 16/9 -type days, you get to keep him at a discounted rate. I don't think Krstic signs a one-year deal. I would imagine that the FO doesn't need any more time to make a decision after this 2nd half of the season.
