I guarantee we'll win at least one in New Orleans and bring the series back to Portland

    @KingSpeed

    Wtf man????

    Seriously??

Before you go calling anyone one else out in this thread, maybe read the thread title and then figure out who the thread creator is and give them a bit of grief before calling anyone ese out and trying to deflect?

Seriously. Thats a portland2014 move right there.

Own up. You are better than this.

What are you freaking out about? I was saying BonesJones was right! If he stuck with the bet he initially made, he'd have $50. He would've won the Orlando bet too!

You do realize that you have now shown that he gets grief either way... How exactly is that fair to him and make him want to do it?

In other words. Stop with the bet talk. No more. This will be your warning.

Wait, @HCP gets called out for not being positive enough on his season prediction. @KingSpeed gets called out for being too positive on a couple of playoff road games.

Big deal if King was wrong, he put out good money to see the Blazers shit the bed in NO. Much respect.

Uhhh, I don't think an actor spending a few bucks on going to a game or two is a huge sacrifice.

I bet that he won't. Not that there's anything wrong with it. You're threatening to ban him?

I don't have a problem (at all) with King posting these threads. In fact, I even approve of them. But if you are wrong, step up and admit it after. Just like you would if you were right. Saying someone else was right is not the same as coming out and manning up that you were wrong. We all have misses. It happens. No reason to worry about it if you handle it right.

I am not a mod to compare this to myself as one, but this seems over the top for one to me. It is like you are equating it to our one major rule we have here and this isn't that (even close) at all.

It cost me about $1500. Not a few bucks. And I'm unemployed.

I wasn't giving him grief. He was right both times. I was dead wrong on the Orlando deal. And the other bet was his idea. Just complimenting him for owning me.

That's what I thought. Waste of money then...how much money you got in the bank and how much residual money?

I know it is personal but without that info your sacrifice is unknowable.

Somehow I doubt that. I doubt many of us could just drop 1500 like it's nothing.

Not freaking out, just calling you out.

Apples to oranges. Spending money on a game is a different topic than making guarantees that dont pan out and then twisting into someone else being wrong.

It did not read like you were saying he is right and you were wrong as much as it read you were saying he was wrong in not taking the bet. Hence sidestepping your innacurate guarantee by deflecting attention to him being wrong to not take the bet.
Sure isnt how it read, but okay. Benefit of the doubt and my apologies.
