Is that what your mom was talking about? Kidding, of course. I couldn't decide to throw the insult with mom or the depracating humor with my wife
Trolling (Websters Dictionary) slang ( intr ) computing to post deliberately inflammatory articles on an internet discussion board. Trolling gets WAY overused and with the wrong meaning. Same way "racist" gets EXTREMELY overused. People seem to latch onto a polarizing term and use it for every circumstance, regardless if its true or accurate.
actually in the thread you deleted, because it was an I told you so thread. which is what this is, meant to get people who don't agree to dialog with. when I asked you about it, you said it turned into a bitch fest. You said nothing about the TWO people who trolled the thread and de-railed it. But this thread is the same thing minus the trolls. An I told you so thread. though your post was "okay I was wrong, I thought the Blazers matched up better". But the other two had no intentions to talk basketball, only to cry that the Blazers were down 0-3 and someone posting an I told you so thread" was childish.(notice how I'm saying the posts were childish, not the people. therefore it fits into the rules of the forums) And tbh I do normally talk basketball, just because my opinion on a forum isn't the same as the typical Blazer fan, or I call out silly posts. Doesn't mean I'm not talking basketball. Just means I'm not going to be the typical homer and say. "oh we're going to win 4 in a row after being down 0-3" Then come and say before the Blazers and Spurs even play game 5. Guaranteeing a win in the series... And then telling everyone in an attacking manor. "I will come back and say I told you so." That's quiet hostile and inciting A rule incase forgot.
I'm so glad MM opened another account to agree with himself with, he has brought balance to the force
You like the older, big women? Kudos to you, kind hearted man. What does that say about your wife then? ;]
You're reaching. Just like your justification that this thread was a troll thread. All threads are made to induce discussion, debate, etc. Positive, on-topic posts (This is a Blazers forum yes?) are not even close. Regardless if they are outlandish. "trolling" is a deliberate attempt to stir up animosity, angst, negativity, and/or confrontation between posters or individuals. Generally speaking, trying to start a fight, or derail a topic. What you did was a complete troll, and you do it often.
So in your opinion, stating "I guarantee we'll win the series" while down 0-3 was meant to induce discussion I guess we have different definitions of the word discussion
It did (this is the blazers basketball forum last time I checked), until you came in and derailed the thread. So yes, we do. Unfortunately for the rest of us, the mods didn't delete your trolling posts.
The fact that after 1 loss (with them up 3-0) stopped most of them from coming back (the troll ones, at least)... that's just sad. lol.
