>>> 1972? I guess I forgot, don't follow FB much anymore anyway. So consider them boycotted. Heh? what did you catch
Honestly, isn't the idea of the president going to meet every Tom, Dick and Harry who wins some sports entertainment trophy sort of stupid? On one side you got these very public people who will get shit from their friends if they do the wrong thing and then you have back slapping billionaires like Robert Kraft who love every bit of attention they get. For the most part I think both politics and religion should stay out of sports.
No, its knowing that a lot of celebrities are considered "useful idiots" by people in their camps and can be manipulated quite easily.
You are probably right. It's basking in the righteousness garnered by telling the world of the snub that sucks.
What....?? Freedom of choice is unAmerican???? We no longer have the right to associate with those we choose? All hail Emperor Trump. Kneel and bow when summoned. If meeting the president is a prerequisite for winning championships, then it's time to get out of the sports business. If it's so important for the president to meet those people, maybe he should do it in San Francisco. Holy shit, and you guys tweak the left for getting their panties in a twist over stupid shit.......as Jade Falcon always says, get over yourselves......
Hmmmm........well, the Trump supporters isolated themselves from a large portion of the population and yet they're still stumbling along,,,,,,,
say hello to a great American sports figure...Muhammed Ali says hello.... http://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/muhammad-ali-refuses-army-induction
Personally I find this a bit of a slap in the face as an american. Not that I really care what some dumbass rich basketball player thinks, but he wouldn't be a rich basketball player if it weren't for this country and it isn't about the President in office, its about the office itself.... I just lost what little respect I had for that punk....What a little bitch....
