    as I predicted, now that James is gone, he is indeed on the block. However, they don't need to "dump" him, so I don't think we'll get him. Carmelo is not interested in Portland, so we won't be getting him. The "big trade" that is theoretically possible is Blake Griffin to the Blazers. Not sure how people feel about that one....

    I have a feeling we'll have a press conference at the start of training camp where Neil talks down to everyone who doesn't lob softball questions at him.

    I have a feeling Paul Allen will finally fire Olshey when he is unable to flip all those valuable expiring contracts for all-stars two NBA trade deadlines from now.

    No risk no reward. If Olshey trusts in his culture and dame as much as he claims he should make the move for Kawhi and bank on selling him on it all much like the thunder did with George. Kawhi is a perfect fit on and off the court for Portland.

    Worst case it’s a salary dump and we chase Cousins or whoever in FA.

    I feel like they’ll trade him. Everything they’ve said publicly is just to maintain whatever leverage they have left.

    Pop has always seemingly had a weird respect for the Blazers and their players, so it wouldn’t surprise me if he liked CJ, and it would especially not surprise me if he liked Collins. Even Aminu is a fit. CJ and Collins is a better offer than Philly and LA would probably rather hold onto Ingram.
