    Stepan got in today because someone was out sick or hurt. Looked painfully slow out there in his 5 minutes or so of ice time he got.

    Bad break for US as they'll line up versus canada in semis so will have to beat both canada and either russia again or sweden for the gold. Now the conspiracy theory person in me wonders if russia lost on purpose so they would avoid canada till the finals. I know, I know, farfetched but stranger things have happened
