Maybe I should go bump the thread.</div>Was that before or after the finals that you were saying that?So the referee they names...I found out he did screw the Suns before in a regular season game, but does anyone know what games he reffed in the playoffs so we can go back and see if there really were rigged games?
I hope people dont automaticly think he for sure rigged games. Hes under investigation...which he will more likely than not be convicted, but people shouldnt jump to conclusions until this is all figured out by the court and I hope like hell people dont bring back up the stupid ass conspiracy theories...those are seriously some of the most annoying threads/posts ive ever seen on bball forums...
But there will soon be some proof that supports the theories. They may not be theories but facts soon enough.
Its one ref....not all refs are being accused. This is going to bring all the Wade haters all back out and all that stupid crap. But they will come out and start all that stupid sh*t again. This is seriously going to ruin basketball for me...it really is...And its not going to be fact for all those theories....first off, theres 3 refs and people in the stands to watch and make sure the game isnt rigged. If this ONE ref is trying to rig games, its alot harder done than being said...you have to somehow call over both the refs, not make it obvious and make sure the agents in the stands dont notice anyhting. This is probably just one guy doing it...if he is guilty of doing it.People are just not going to think hard about it, jump out and start all these dumbass theories again becuase of this one guy...
Yes people in the stands and people watching TV. All of those people have seen some god-awful calls and that's what started the conspiracy theories. The most controversial calls are the ones where there is one referee close by and he makes a terrible call. The whole crew doesn't get together and discuss everything. The ref closest makes a call and they move on even after the entire stadium boos after seeing the replay. A call is rarely overturned because the other refs usually don't have a great view of it. I don't think this means too much right now, but I would not be surprised at all if more of the top refs in the league were caught. Watching the playoffs the last couple years it just has really seemed that the refs were trying to effect the outcome. I'll wait on it before I say much more, but I knew there was something going on.

And true the refs dont get together after every call, but if this certain ref constantly makes questionable calls that the other refs notice, he will be reported to the NBA office.
Well then those guys aren't doing there job if we get so many terrible calls in big games and all the refs keeping their jobs after these last two seasons of horrible playoff officiating. There have been a lot of playoff games recently that really looked rigged if you've been paying attention and it's very interesting that one team seems to lose nearly every single time when a certain official is reffing a game, examples are GS with Salvatore and Dallas with Crawford...haven't both lost over 10 games with that person reffing and only won like 2?And it's interesting that this betting scheme began 2 years ago during the worst officiated playoffs that I remember in any sport.

I definitely wouldn't have been surprised if it was Steve Javie. He makes horrible calls religiously.

The Mavs vs. Spurs series was ridiculous with calls, too. The thing about that series was that it had some games that had ridiculous calls for us and other games with ridiculous calls for SA. Spurs fans would say that they were all against them, because that's the way Spurs fans are.
Hahaha, I remember being accused of being a homer for claiming nba refs rigged games. This is only the first, I'm sure other refs are rigging games.

It's not, I'm just saying that you weren't being a homer at all with what you said because you weren't whining about your team. I actually remember it.
I wish it's Salvatore, Thejoke that was game game 5 of the finals was with him reffing. I knew something was up with these refs, thank god I was not being paranoid

And the refs have favored us so much.
