This place has way more ESPN board folks, yeah? That's where I came from (well, BLT before that, but ESPN, then that other forum, then here)
The owner is committed to picking only players of a high moral caliber. Pritchard once told a small group of us that the owner and the rest of management swore we'd never be known as the Jail Blazers again. There was a round of applause from everywhere in the room.
Don't know the twilight room but I do know about the Lake Oswego Country Club. Edit - How about the MAC Club? Does that count as an exclusive club?
Ah the beauty of a real wood bat. My favorites were either an Al Kaline or a Micky Mantle with an occasional Jackie Robinson with the big handle and big barrel. It was pretty cool in college they even engraved my name on my bats.
The T Room is a landmark dive bar in N. Portland on Lombard that U of P students hung out at, especially on Wednesdays when they had dimer night.
I think it’s part of the Blazers problem, they don’t seem to have many guys that are just punks, that you love if their on your team and hate if they play for someone else. I’m not saying go back to the jail Blazers. I think my favorite part of Zach Collins is he has that fiery competitive side.
I don't really have to fix my expectations. I'm pretty spot on with my expectations of THIS ROSTER. I looked at the team as a whole, saw what they did when they didn't have guys going in and out of the lineup. Only to make a correct prediction on their HCA seed. Simply because it was obvious to anyone not wearing blinders like @HCP . Unless you were from Cali or Texas, no team was better than the other middle of the pack WC teams. Meanwhile, if you were to use the search function on this forum. The same people calling for change and saying the team has peaked after the 17-18 season. Were the same people calling for change and saying the team has peaked after the 16-17 season. You then go onto put words in my mouth saying I'm okay with mediocrity. GTFO with that bullshit. I've said multiple times that I would've fired Stotts after this series. If I was confident I could find a replacement for him who wouldn't go into a series with the game plan of. Run 9 billion P&R's against the best P&R defense in the league hoping their best player will tire in the 4th quarter and be unable to make plays. As far as NO is concerned, if I had the option. He would've been gone before the start of this year. I've also said that multiple times. People need to stop using the tired argument of Portland's record. With the Spurs not having Leonard, Portland took advantage and gave themselfs room to have a bad streak. Why did that bad streak happen? Injuries to key pieces players were in and out of the lineup. It's not a coincidence that Portland peaked when they got production from the Forward spots. When that stopped due to injury, and Aminu going through one of his usual poor shooting stretches. Portland started losing games. Just like OKC, Utah, NO, & Minn. Portland isn't good enough to have an injury to a rotational player, yet still keep the wins coming. Middle of the pack teams. Why is this so hard to understand?
No one understands what you are working so hard to make everyone understand. You keep repeating the obvious, and saying that no one understands it. You don't seem to understand that everyone already knows the basic fact you keep repeating that you say that no one understands. This is why no one understands why you are working so hard to make everyone understand, unless you are just a misunderstood guy.
