Yes, we are are becoming what I like to call "moldy oldies". Some a little more oldie, some a little more moldy!

I started watching the Blazers the season after they won the championship. Before that, at 12 years old, I didn't even know Portland had a basketball team.

I've enjoyed watching these games as well. Been a fan since the 70's. But IMO, i prefer today's Blazers way more. More skilled. These Blazers in this 1999 Jazz playoff game look so stiff. Can't shoot, can't shoot freethrows. Pretty ugly. Plus they aren't as likable. Wish we could have watched young Arvidas because in 1999 he was so stiff because of his knees. It's hard to watch. He lumbered alot on defense. Great passer, decent shooter. I think Duck was a better all around player than Sabonis. Only Sabonis' passing really impresses me. I'm sorry, i just didn't enjoy this pre- Jail Blazers era as much watching it again. Just not very fluid. Also Nurk has so much potential going forward. I believe when it's all said and done, the two best centers to don the Blazers colors will be Bill Walton and Nurkic.

My word, the game tonight is the 96 team, game 3 against the Jazz. I forgot how ugly that team played.

I forgot that that year the Blazers had Cliff Robinson, Rumeal Robinson and James Robinson.

Such a bad team that year.
