I remember when this guy they were looking for ran over the bicyclist.

They still didn't need to do this bullshit.

It seems the vet was 6'7" and 300 lbs. He could have just whooped that cop's ass right then and there and I'd have donated to his defense.

I haven't been pulled over by them once, I drive like a 60 year old woman so I don't know what to tell you. Honestly I don't see them pull too many people over just driving around they usually set up stings at places people always break the law. The Walmart on Sunset is a bitch to get to and people do U turns there all day to get to the gas station on the corner but it is clearly marked no U turns so they just sit there and shoot fish in a barrel.

The Mexican guy with the baby is INSTANTLY recognized to not fit the description and they continue to fuck with him. No, sorry Senor your'e free to go.

Wal-Marts get more police calls than any other location in the US.

I read something about that recently. Walmart pretty much passes the cost of security off to the police or something like that. I'd been in that Walmart a thousand times (until we finally got a Winco yay!) and I don't think I ever saw any police action there. The one on Nellis where I used to live is the one that the cop killers ended up a few years ago. I was already long gone from that shithole neighborhood thank jeeesus.

Hm...did you try to do a multi-quote here, and wrongly attributed your comment to mine?

Because I'm fairly certain my posting history, and my comment here was said in a tone that indicated I already agreed with you, or that I don't live in West Linn.

Your response seems so out of left field here.

When i worked at a hospital i remember a charger pulling up to the ER, smoke pouring out of the hood. Black guy got out and like 6 cop cars were behind him. White cop walked up, no guns drawns, asked him "wtf are you doing man?" Dude punched his car, says "my girl man" cop looks in sees unconscious woman in car, grabs wheel chair, takes her inside.

Turned out the girl was going into diabetic coma and her boy friend was doing over 100 down a 35mph stretch of road. Cops thought he was evading and were in hot pursuit, but when they pulled in front of the hospital i think they realized what was going on. No guns were drawn at any time, and the ladys life was saved. Dude got a ticket for wreckless driving and cop even told him he would talk to judge and try to give him a break but in future, EMS could have been treating her on the way in.

Cop publicly apologized and even pulled me aside and apologized for how he handled situation. I said i dont know why you are apologizing to me, the dude punched his vehicle in emotional panic after a high speed chase and you guys immediately went from a detaining him mindset to save this womans life.

    It's not apples to oranges.

And we don't hear the term "white on white" crime because people (that aren't pushing agenda) just call it "CRIME".

    plus you missed the point.

I was busy with furthering my education so my responses are late.

You can get offended by the word Mexican if you want, I'll hand you a tissue.
I however wouldn't get offended if someone called me a White or Polish man, nor do any of my black friends get offended if someone/I call them black or African.
Now if I were to call him a beaner I could see where you're coming from. But I didn't so...

I've had many older people tell me wish they had logic class taught in school when they were kids.
    A vehicle not running.
Person walking around the vehicle, in the middle of the road blocking traffic...
Logically the car is broke down and the person needs assistance.
So at the very least being a human, you go ask if they need help.
    Not assume they're dangerous.
    Not assume they're irrational.
Not assume they're a bad man due to how they look.

Some of your questions @SlyPokerDog has already answered with his links previously.

that's the first responding officer's fault. you can't blame the entire department. he was radioing and building it up like it was a necessary. the responding officers just see a gun and the need to remove it from the perp. he should have never been a perp. while you are kind of asking for it when you do that stuff, only reason i havent. im glad he had the balls to do that though, notice how he followed all the officers commands even though he was being illegally detained. that's a great protest there, much better than getting yourself shot by doing something to scare an already over reacting officer. now that cop can feel like an idiot and hopefully rethink his life and no one had to die over it.

my favorite part though is how traffic just continues as normal. everyones like meh what ever, time to go to target.

    It wasn't me.

As to the car breaking down. I have had many such incidents back in my younger days. Even new cars in that day were not all that reliable, let alone the cast offs.
I any case, I never left one in the middle of the road, cars will coast far enough to get them off the road. But I do remember pushing one off the road unassisted and this fellow
looks to be at least as big as me.

Yeah, leaving a car in the middle of the friggin road is irrational, and I don't expect police should be expecting irrational people to follow commands like clock work or shoot them for the failure.

As it turns out, I don't know if the fellow was irrational or not, but the lady cop sure as hell seems to be. At least she was not assign to a task within her capabilities so her boss sure didn't make a rational decision when he put her out there.

I look at youtube videos like a highlight video. Sure can make you think a few isolated incidents are an epidemic. Just like the HCP can make joel przybilla look like an all star.

There are so many people pushing their agenda hard right now, it made me think about this 20 year old skit that predicted the future.

Political correctness is inspired by the logic that somehow you can intimidate people into respecting others.

It's common sense that respect for someone comes from within. It can't be legislated, only driven underground or hidden.
