Somewhere along the line someone fed you something that you've taken on as reality. but honestly I could care less if you smoke, but you cant judge without knowledge. I've seen the bad sh*t coke and heroine can do to people moreso my old friends. All marijuana did to my friends was make them hungry.

I meant in general, how everyone is involved with your life and things going on with you. It's not like I have a problem with it, it's cool you share it with us. I respect you and all. Smoking the reefer isnt any worse than drinking alcohol. People say marijuana leads to harder drugs...which it can to weaker people...but alcohol can lead to alcoholism and ive seen on Dateline it can lead to pill-popping. If alcohol is legal, I think the herb should be too...I really dont see a problem with it if people are safe with it(like not driving while blazed or anything...which most of the people I know who smoke are safe about it).

This resembles the smokers vs drinkers in "Platoon."The smokers are lazy abstractionists. The drinkers are destructive and judgmental.

All marijuana did to my friends was make them hungry.</div>You said you started smoking in grade 4...I don't think that's experiencing life at all....doing drugs at that age sort of ruins the childhood experience and innocence altogether.Doing it in college is fine with me...There's no bad side effects that I know of, and it's an experience that one should probably try at one point in their lives...

Both can potentially lead to substance abuse for people who use it irresponsibly. I'm one who uses both occasionally and very responsibly, which I think is very important.
