If you eat a container full of sugar I'm sure you'll have some kind of ''high rush''. What makes marijuana a drug and sugar not? thats my point. Drugs are man-made, you cant grow drugs, you can grow plants.
So by that logic, opium or mushrooms aren't drugs either. I think most medical experts would disagree, but what do they know?

Most people dont consider alchohol a drug also.

It is a depressant.I think big parts of how medical agencies classify something as a drug would be if it introduces or adds new chemicals to the body, how people gain a tolerance to it or dependence on it, and if it is beneficial or damaging to your health.
