Sorry to hear. I know he is forum fave. I don't know why it has to get that point. We all need to remember what this is and to keep it in perspective.
Leonar_ _oes suck, and white centers are all bums. Chris Kaman has been the only respectable white C in quite some time. Plus considering how long this league was racist for the fact that only 6 of the NBA's 25 best centers ever were white is saying something. Still we do owe our only title to a white center so I can understand the outrage.
Whore is meant in a nice way? In what universe? I missed that exchange - I'm rarely on the board because I feel pretty unwelcome here, and I know that a lot of people WANT me to feel unwelcome here. Not just that people disagree with me, that's fine, it's expected, this is a discussion board, after all. But that any comment ends up setting off an MRA rant. Frankly, I'd rather clean the cat box.
Well of course a man would like to be called "whore"! LOL Gotta remember the context. There is a big difference between calling a man a "whore" instead of a woman. It would actually be like calling you a F**got. I wasn't hear for the exchange, but knowing certain people here, I think I know what went on. As far as BF calling people stupid, that is an insult too. Not ban worthy, but definitely to be edited by the mods.
So if we call a dude a whore it is okay? As in "there goes that attention whore HCP again." For example?
We've all said that many times. And we're still here. There's context and there's intent. In that example, it's a term of endearment, and I'm sure HCP appreciates the attention, because, well, you know....
