So by that logic Jason Kidd will end his career a better coach than Phil Jackson?

Well at least I'm pretty sure there used to be a deadline to be on a roster by in order to be eligible to play in the playoffs...I think :smiley-hmm:

I believe this only applies to NBA teams, not over seas teams. Could be wrong though.

Lamar Odom got injured with his Spanish club. Wright isn't injured and he's 6 years younger.

Just confused on why you chose Wright of all people? He's actually decent. Why not someone at the end of the bench who never plays or something?

you want to drop a valuable commodity (reliable snap shooter off the bench) that fits his role on the team to a tee for lamar odom? seriously? literally worst idea ever.

If we won't replace Wright with a worthless pile of shit, it therefore stands to reason we would not trade Wright for Lebron James. Perfectly logical.

If he could play he would be on a team. He is old. He will never have the energy, fluidity in the game Wright has. Here is another important fact. The team likes him. And if you were going to cut anyone. You wouldn't cut him.

For at least 15 years, I have felt that each Laker player would be about half as good on another team. Move everyone down a level. Laker superstars (Shaq and Kobe) would be only stars (on the level Gasol was with Memphis), Laker top starters would be just (I don't know, but you get the idea), Laker starters would be top subs, Laker subs would be journeymen.

That team has run on (Phil Jackson) fumes a long time, even when Stern's refs won them championships. I always thought Jerry Buss was a lazy owner.
