I would trade Bosh for Bynum, and that would solve all the problems

He's also played in five less games this season. Bosh has to carry the load on his team as the guy every night.

Based on their resume, Chris is the safe bet. Who knows what you'll get with Andrew.

Is he better than Artest this year? Artest has been a monster on defense...

Who Bynum? Of course not. Artest is a premiere defender in the NBA.

    God I love Ron.

That's what I mean though Shape, the talent here would further raise Bosh's game.

It's a possibility, but the fact there's too many "IFs" involved I wouldn't do the deal. Our team roster would look like the Hawks. Athletic forwards without real size. The Hawks haven't done very well in the post season with the construction of their team especially when they face a team with true size.

The Hawks don't have Kobe, or an amazing superstar like that.

I think either player you pick, there will be ifs. If he can stay healthy, if he is redundant, if he can subjugate his game.

    How nice.

I can't help you with your problems though, maybe you should seek professional help.

the lakers have kobe, arguably the best clutch player of his generation but the raps have jose caledron who is arguably the greatest spanish trash talker in the nba. and thats the difference between the lakers and the raps

    here's evidence:

here's a stupid question- if kobe wasnt on the lakers, who has a better squad.. the lakers or raps?

    Lakers, hands down.

Three quality big men and any old guards who can make outside shots and get the ball in the post, and these guys win a lot of games.

If the lakers lost kobe and bynum theyre still better than the raps. Odom and Pau were both studs before they got to the lakers they can still get it done scoring wise if they were given the oppurtunity to be the man

I don't know if i'd call Odom a stud. And Pau is moreso the guy who works great as a second option. Leading a team is a different story, not sure if he'll go far as the main man.

And i'm not sure if the Lakers are 'easily' better than the Raptors without Kobe. You take Kobe out of the Lakers (in the west, too) they'll probably win 45-49 games. They'll make the playoffs, but they'll face a team like Denver or Portland first round and win one game at best (w/o Kobe).

The Raptors are the biggest bunch of underachievers this league has. You take Kobe out, the Lakers are better, but not by as much as you'd think.

its not stupid, im like justin timberlake- im bringing intelligent and sexy back!!! and its not the lakers hands down despite what denny crane thinks. why? well the lakers have the trio of derek fisher, jordan farmar and shannon brown at the point; if kobe wasnt creating open looks for his teammates- the lakers would be mired in mediocrity like the raps.

I think both teams would benefit from this trade.

Not sure what this means... but this thread is in the top 20 (will be tied for 15th with this post) all time most active threads in this forum. It is the third most active thread here this year, and the most active since the Draft Party thread back in June.

Congratulations (I guess) to everyone who participated. Way to go. It's amazing what sparks people's interest. I would have thought things like game threads, fire the coach threads, etc. would be more active than a trade proposal that's bascially impossible under the current CBA. Oh well, it was still fun.

They have Joe Johnson who does similar things on the court as Kobe. Not as good of course, but he can shoot the 3, draws fouls, and take his man off the dribble.

It validates how far along Bynum has come in a short period of time.
