I am living the dream in Beautiful Central Oregon. Got another foot since this pic, so today is dig-out day.
Just got back from the local Costco (less than a mile from my house). A GREAT day to shop there. No line at the gas pumps or the cash register. Great parking. Even better, no fat ass, oblivious, self absorbed soccer moms blocking the aisles talking on their cell phones or to another fast assed, oblivious, self absorbed soccer mom all the while grazing on free snacks and giving me the stink eye when I say "excuse me". I wish it would snow every time I needed a Costco run.....
Well back in the day they used to do it in vehicles like this: and this: Now, they use vehicles like this: But I have never seen anything like this... until now:
Yeah, sure, but at the end of the day they stay in Bend. That's quite a hike from there to 41st and Alder.
We're supposed to clear the snow off our side walks aren't we? I've not done that. Seems like clearing it could make it more dangerous because then you'll have slick ice and go boom on concrete rather than snow. I guess I'll clear it off and lay down some sand?
My neighbor cleared my sidewalk, and another did the pathway from our front step to the sidewalk. Score!
How on God's green earth were they able to get every single Trump voter in one little video???? Lord, I can't wait to start my Great American Road Trip this spring.....
Yes. This is not eassy to do when ytou are sick. I went out yesterday afternoon and got halfway to the sidewalk and came back in exhausted. Im a big strong guy, but man. Just couldnt breathe. Let me get your neighbor my Address!!! So you swing? lol
I went outside about an hour ago in slippers, a sweatshirt, and fleece pajama bottoms to get a package of napkins that I left in my car. I took one step onto the sidewalk, slipped, and went ass-over-tea kettle backwards and smacked my head on the bottom frame of the fucking bike rack outside our apartment complex. My left slipper went flying backwards through the air, past my head, and I landed on the damn thing, flat on my back. I think I smacked my right arm on the sidewalk when I landed, because it hurt quite a bit (which eventually went away), and my right index finger hurts like a bitch. And as I slowly regained consciousness, and the sky stopped spinning and the ring of my head hitting the metal of the bike rack faded away....I found myself wondering if it was really worth it just to get a package of napkins. It was not. But I crawled to my feet, staggered to my car, and got them anyways.
