If CJ were to be traded, who are we most likely to get?

I really like this deal or something Similar.

    Starting 5:

    Lillard
    Murray
    Powell
    Harris
    Nurk

I like Murray, but I don’t like 3 guys 6’3 in the starting lineup. I’d be ecstatic with a trade that leaves us with RoCo at the 3 and Harris at the 4 though.

    Dame
    Powell
    RoCo
    Harris
    Nurk

    CJ/Nas for Harris?

So basically we have Nas/Simons/CJ2/DJJ(if he opts in) as bench pieces right now? That’s horrible. Collins injury hurts.

I actually don't think that's too bad at all. Ant should be better and so should Nas. DJJ played really well on defense under Stotts and might do well on O with a coach that wants player and ball movement. Maybe CJ2 makes a jump forward but we have the taxpayer MLE at right around 6M to get some backup big in here if we don't just decide to use our early bird exemption on Kanter and keep the TPMLE for someone we want. There are a lot of options and I think we'll fill out our bench but yeah it would have been nice either of the last two seasons or this upcoming season to have what Zach once was.

Generally it feels like we may be overvaluing CJ etc. Normal for fans. It’s why fans think they can get Lillard. Harris, Murray, for CJ, Ant and Covington ain’t happening.

I'd do CJ for Harris, but not CJ plus Nas. That would be moronic of the Sixers to trade Harris instead of Simmons, but Harris is arguably a better fit in a lot of ways despite being way less talented than Simmons. I'd still rather go for the moonshot with Simmons though because the clock is ticking for Dame. He needs a Star-level player a true #2 anything less and we fall short of the WCF let alone the Chip. It's risky, but we have to swing for the fences and really I don't think it's anywhere near as risky as the Simmons doubters think. I just think it could be that Simmons has a mental issue that can't be fixed that gets worse due to that series who knows. It could also be that Simmons fixes that jumpshot and he's godlike. More likely he is what he is and if we trade to surround him with shooters I'm certain that will work and work well.

CJ for Harris solves a lot of ills for our Blazers. But in no way am i trading RoCo who is our best wing defender. CJ for Harris works on it's own merit. Especially if Philly decides to keep Simmons, which looks more and more likely. A veteran PG can be added if CJ is traded. Plenty of fine backups out there. DJ Augustine is always overlooked for his contributions.

Indiana may have some interest in home state CJ. A little more chatter coming from that side.

For some reason my gut feeling tells me IF CJ get's moved a 3rd team may have to get involved but i very well could be wrong.

I think if we're keeping Dame and moving CJ to get an upgrade at forward and bring back Norm, then CJ would probably go to the Knicks for the best package of young players and picks we could get. Then we could send that and future picks of our own to Toronto for Siakam.

We get a huge trade exemption, and Neil wins Exec of the Year.
