Where the hell could we trade Carter?

first of all, there's no need to cuss. second of all, the Miami trade could happen if the Heat get desperate,

blame Thorn for not trading VC last year for whatever we can manage but if we let go of Kidd (which will happen), VC has to go. We cant be tied to his bad contract anymore. We need capspace so we can sign young free agents, (Thorn will proabaly sign Kevin Willis). My offer that I red on another boardP: VC to Miami for Ricky Davis, Dorrwel Wright and Blount or another filler.

Why not trade send VC to Minny for young guns who arent being used anymore like foye and green? Al Jefferson and VC would be a great duo

VC for Ratliff's contract, Gerald green and Marko Jaric? Thats a better deal than what Philly got for AI

If Carter and Al are good, why hadn't Vince chosen to play with CB4?

Yeah, but we can do a lot better for Vince Carter. Plus capspace is only worth something if you have a bunch of young talent to resign, or if you're grabbing a FA. FA's aren't going to want to come to New Jersey; hell it took us to be a playoff team with a HOF pg to land...jamaal magloire.

Now the question is how long before Carter starts pouding like Kidd?

    That's a joke.

He's in no position to pout about anything.

He's a ridiculously overpaid non-superstar who's lucky his owner sees him as a marketing asset.

Over payed? No one on the nets team is more overpayed than jason kidd. Vince has more talent than anyone on the team.

Nice one-two punch there John: first Vince is more talented than Kidd, followed up by rebuilding for Ricky Davis...and nothing else.

    1) So you'd prefer to rebuild without getting any talent back? This isn't like starting an expansion franchise; if you've got resources to expidite the rebuilding process youv'e got to take advantage of it.

    2) Just like FA's stay away from places like Phoenix, San Antonio, Boston, (previously Miami), et al. Those places get pull because they're contenders. I could see trying to sign Emeka, seeing as he's still young, but thats about it.

is Dorell Wright not talent? what better player can we get in return?

guys like Turiaf and other young guys arent really concerned about signing with a contender.
