Hell--if we had enough room for LA and Monroe, doesn't that mean we also have enough for both Jordan and Harris? That would be a pretty strong path too. Dame/Watson (room exception?) Henderson/McCollum Harris/Aminu Leonard/Vonleh Jordan/Plumlee I could see that 10-man rotation being very good.
I like that a lot, but I don't think it's very feasible. Actually, I'd bring Meyers off the bench and start Harris and Aminu together.
Not to poo poo anyone's party (as we have all had enough of that) but I don't think Jordan is really going to leave the Clips.
Not feasible...why? As in, unlikely that Jordan would come here? Perhaps. But he does have a relationship with Olshey, he would certainly have a bigger role here than he did in LA, and I think I could make a decent car for that being a pretty good team, rebuilt on the fly. Point is, there are still ways to build a team that's good immediately and has room to grow. I'm not giving up on this season yet.
It is nice to see that Neil is FINALLY listening to me. I credit the avatar change. He couldn't take that goofy Rolo pic seriously.
Just pointing out--this result is still alive. The twitters say that Orlando won't match a max offer. Here's hoping Neil gives him one.
What don't you understand? Assuming LA leaves, we still have enough cap space after signing Aminu/Davis to max out Harris if he wants to come here, with space left over for a couple other guys. Pretty simple.
No, that was my scenario #3, but that's dead now. Scenarios #1 & 2 involved Davis and either Jordan or Harris.
It'll be real interesting to see what Olshey has in mind. If LA leaves maxing out Tobias would be an option I'd like to see.
