If Nurk were to be traded, who are we most likely to get?

according to some people here, he has little value, so does it really matter

if thats the case, trade him for whatever you can get

It does appear there is a wide range of opinions regarding his value. Some may think "no value" as you say, others think he's a top tier center.

I'm in the middle I guess. Though if hope at least one GM outside of Olshey thinks he's a top tier center.

    nurk wont get traded, unless:

    a) new head coach dont want him
    b) blazers can get better player while using nurk as an asset
    c) nurk refuses to sign an extension (if offered one), so they trade him to get something for him, which is still better than him leaving in free agency

Honestly, it's distressing how many teams I look at their rosters and think "Nurk wouldn't be a clear upgrade over their current starting center". Maybe Marang is right and interest in him is higher than we think, but it would surprise me if there much of a market for him.

    d) we trade for Ben Simmons because we're not starting two guys who can't spread the floor on offense

I think there are just a handful of GMs that have a high value on Nurk, a value that would surprise us. I think that's all it will take though, if we end up with Simmons because we aren't starting Simmons and Nurk together... there's just no way.

    i dont understand this

however, nurk shoot 12/30 (40%) from 3-point land... small sample size, but that 3-pointer is becoming legit

I don't think he "fits" all of the specific teams, but I think he's an upgrade over a decent amount of teams' starting Cs.
LAC, Dallas, Lakers, Memphis, GS, SA, N.O., SAC, OKC, Detroit, Orlando, Toronto, Charlotte, Washington, Boston. I'm not really sure who to call Brooklyn's C. NYK. Can some be debated? Of course. But I think there's only a handful of team's where he is a CLEAR downgrade with no debate. Utah, Denver, Phoenix, Philly, Minnesota, Miami, Indiana.
