If Roder gets the sack who do you think will get the Toon job? I think it will be either: 1... Alan Shearer ( he has a great influence on the players and is highly respected as a footballer, if he is half as good at being a manager as he was a player, he will win us trophies!) 2... Kevin Keegan ( i know what you are all thinking, " He tryed, failed and walked out on us, England and Manchester City" yes he did walked out, however he has came the closest in ages to win us a trophie. 2 second place finishes in the prem and 2 cup runners up. So close. Give him another chance!!!) 3... Harry Rednapp ( a great manager and a hero of the game. Newcastle are in a relagation battle and Harry is knowen for his "Great escapes" ok and he has had is fair share of relagations, however he has worked wounders with Portsmouth, keeping them up last season and this season they have started off well) A good manager who will never ever get the job: Peter Reid... ( a great football player and manager but come on! He has managed Sunderland and was hated by the Toon army at his time at Sunderland... but it has to be said, a lot of people like him around here now.)
Can't see Rednapp leaving Pompy anytime soon, and they did promise a big manager last time so hopefully they will love upto that when this new guy gets sacked.
