I would offer Danny Green a contract as well. SAS seems ok with losing him (provided they get LMA) but if we offer him and then LMA - good forbid - decides to go to SAS then I bet they would be fine with a sign and trade.

I did. He replied "Denny is a fat bastard!" I don't know what that means. Is that code or something?

What do you mean by 15 days? Teams whose RFA signed an offer sheet still have only 3 days from the time the offer sheet is signed and sent to the league office for the Right of First Refusal exercise ("matching the offer")

That would be good actually. We have enough space to offer Green 10 mil, Leonard max and still have enough to keep Aldridge

Haha.. I found the 1999 version of the cba faq. I thought it was 3 days, as I posted originally :)

When another team wants to sign a restricted free agent, it signs the player to an offer sheet, the principal terms of which the original team is given 15 days to match.

And seriously, it would be soooo cool. Could you imagine if we bamboozled Spurs like that?

we can trade for hibbert by simplying trading away wes and robin. that starting line up is dangerous. the bench would also be one of the best

At least, hopefully, no team will take splitters contract to help the spurs get lma. Nobody wants that

I wouldn't be so sure. I've seen few tweets showing Spurs are working to clear cap space.

They could also trade Diaw+Patty to Cleveland for Haywood

That'd be something. Cleveland would really be helping San Antonio out if they made that move - you know SA would much prefer to move Diaw than Splitter. I thought I saw where Diaw's contract was considered as one of the least move-able.
