allow baseball pitchers to retaliate, and make the warning.too often, team A hits Team B batter, both sides are warned. So Team B cannot respondwithout getting ejected and suspended for 5 days
NFL - Agreed on the whole overtime thing. Don't make it sudden death where the coin flip is almost as important as the actual game. I want to see a team get a chance to strike back after the other team scores.MLB - Again, agree with the beanball stuff. Back in the day if you threw too far inside on a team's star player, the very next time YOUR star player got up he'd be drilled in the head. That's a bit harsh, but baseball needs some flavor and attitude that it's currently lacking.NBA - Some of the fouls that are caused are ridiculous. If contact is made and it completely screws up a guy's shot, then you should call it. But an NBA game takes way too long because everytime a guy drives a lane SOMEONE is going to be called for the foul.
On a revision of the overtime thing, maybe...1. Coin flip2. Kick-off3a. If Team A scores on first drive, then Team B gets a Kick-off3b1. If Team B doesn't score on the first drive, they punt with sudden death.3bb2. If Team B doesn't score on the first drive, they can choose for the other team to start from the same spot on the other side of the field and with sudden death.4a. (if 3a happened) If Team B doesn't score, Team A wins.4b. If Team B scores, than the same sequence keeps repeating until someone doesn't score.

Like a full field version of college overtime.
I don't like college overtime where Team B gets last licks, but I also don't like sudden death OT where team B may not get a chance. Maybe give each team a possesion, and then go to sudden death.

The B team wouldn't have a bigger opportunity than team A because it's harder to score on a full field as opposed to a 25 yard scenario.

You 2 are talking about totally different scenarios.Urlacher is talking about what real college overtime is like. PPE is talking about how the NFL could make them start at say the 20 and have to drive at least 45 yards and still give Team B a chance to do the same thing.
In hockey they have to take out the stupid rule where its a penalty if the player accidentily shoots the puck over the glass in their own end

It's also to kind of protect the fans since there are no nets there and people have died at hockey games before.
