Physical - Nothing really. I guess I would want to have a higher vertical, but it's been a while since I've played basketball seriously. Mental - Less of a procrastinator.
I would love to be 6 foot. I'm like 5'8 or so right now, and at this point I'd even settle for 5'10, 5'11ish. I don't think I'm gonna grow anymore height-wise. I'm like half an inch taller than my Dad, but my brother's six foot so there was a chance I could have been as well However, I think if I was bulkier and more well-built, I'd look a lot more bigger, plus with my hair (dont worry, it doesn't shoot straight up like you're probably visioning- I just spike/flip it and it just has a lot of...volume? I think that's the word) I could pull off atleast 5'10-11 or so.
<div class="quote_poster">Locke Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I guess being short runs in the family huh?</div> Yep on my dad's side. My dad is like 5'6''. Pretty short, and my mom is like 5'5''. Thats like kind of tall for a woman from Pakistan. My dad is average for Pakistan males also. Right now, if I was in Pakistan, I would be considered average, but in US I am a little short. My mom's brothers (My uncles) are all over 6 feet. I hope I turn 6. This summer I grew about 4 inches. Do you think I will grow more? <div class="quote_poster">GameFace Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">You think that now, but when your in a group of people, and your significantly taller than them it makes you feel uncomfortable. Opportunity, I just don't stop growing.</div> I guess I was thinking that since I am short. But I think that being tall is good, I guess because I am short, but I understand how you feel. Wonder how Yao feels
Physically I think i would want to be quicker with my feet. I'm not the fastest runner on by basketball team but I play killer defense. Emotionally, I think I would tone down my temper. Gets me in trouble sometimes. I also have the tendency to say whatever comes into my hear and that gets me in trouble too.
I went to my physician last year and he felt on my calf muscle or my knee, I forgot which one, but he did something with my leg by touching my bone and he was like you have strong legs and you may turn out to be over 6 feet. I wish its true, but at the rate I am growing at, I doubt it, but its a possibility that I might be over 6. My uncles on my mom's side are all over 6. So I have a chance

Yeah, you're right. I dont want to be super tall. Just about 5'11 -6'0. How old is your friend now? I guess his parents weren't as short as mines, but there's a possibility I could be 6'0'. Also, I am pretty skinny. I am planning on drinking protein shakes for 3 months straight and lifting weight for 3 months. And if I can pull on some weight, and get taller to about 5'11 or 6'0, I would be pretty happy.
Why only 3 months straight? lol My friend's my age. He's 17. I've never worried too much about my height in my life in actuality, I've always been average (height wise) and I don't really mind it but I do mind trying to get bigger, that's one of my main priorities. Damn fast metabolism.
I'm 16 and about 5 11' and should hit 6 feet + this summer. Physically I wish I didn't have asthma, even though now that I take allergy shots I hardly ever get sick anymore. Mentally I wish I was more confident when it comes to playing basketball.

The reason I want to do it for 3 months straight is because one of my friends gave me an advice to go for 3 months straight. He said do it for 3 months and in that time, you'll get around 15-20 pounds of fat in you. He said do that while playing basketball. Then excercise for around 3 months meaning weight lifting and running. He said that will get me in perfect shape in around 6 months. I hope I get like 2 inches in that span. To me, gaining weight is a bigger thing than getting taller. I believe that I will need to work to gain weight, and height will come along. So in 6 months, I am looking to put one around 20 pounds, and I guess I will eventually get taller.
A phsyical attribute of mine I'd like to change is my teeth, they're the one thing I've always had a problem with. When I was younger, I had alot of ear infections, so I was constantly on anti biotics, which have slightly coloured my teeth, then when I was about 9, I was on my trampoline with a cricket ball, throwing it up and catching it, well I missed it, and it hit my mouth and broke one of my front teeth, so I have to get the crowned some day soon. Also when I was 9, I hit my forehead on a beam, and one of my lower teeth chipped, how that worked still bedazzles me. The same front tooth I broke also sticks out a bit, I had braces when I was younger, but it came back out I'm hoping they can mould it back when I get it crowned. Wow, afterall that, it makes them sound disgusting, lol, but I mean they're not that bad, just somthing I've never been happy with. I'm saving up a bit more so I can get them fixed. Also the dentist I went to to get a quote on getting them fixed said I have some of the best teeth he's ever seen (like no cavaties, no decay, real strong etc.) So, yeah.... lol.

I mean, i guess it depends on where you live cause 6"2" isn't really all that tall. I'm 6 '2.5" but i'm actually average height on my football team and pretty short on my basketball team.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">hit my mouth and broke one of my front teeth</div> When I was in 2nd grade, I chipped my front tooth and kept getting the temporary bond for the tooth, then I chipped my other front tooth weightlifting and got the bond for that to. It sucks when you chip your tooth bad enough so where the nerves in your tooth are dead and the tooth gets all discolored and ish. That happened to me and the little bonds kept breaking with minor accidents. So finally I got both of my front teeth crowned all porselin(sp) baby!

Ate age 9, you messed up your tooth twice? Don't worry dude, I am sure the dentist can make ya teeth look nice Anyways, I had some messed up teeth, I got braces, and I have the perfect smile now.

As I said, they arent really as bad as they sound, the work to fix them would be quite minimal, I'm just not happy with how they look. It's just a shame it costs so damn much to have them fixed, i'll need at least $5,000, which I have, but I would rather have it there in my account. Plus I dont really want to go have all this work done, then go out and play basketball or get into a fight or somthing and have them ruined again, knowing my luck, that would happen too, lol.
