As much as I dont like him.....Steve Nash. Memphis top to bottom would be perfect for Nash. You have Stro, Warrick, Gay, D. Jones, Lawrence Roberts who are all extremely athletic. Then you have Miller, E. Jones, Stoudamire, Atkins, Cardinal who can all hit open 3's like crazy..whoa. Then you throw Pau Gasol into the mix and hes athletic AND can hit the outside shot.
For Toronto, I would take Corey Maggette. The chemistry on the Raps would still be in tact. He would be good in a fast break system, he can drive easily, shoot the ball a bit, he plays solid D.And he would benefit from a trade imo.

For Boston, I'd love to have KG or Duncan. Both are veteran bigs that have the desire to win and know how to lead a team. Of the two, preferably Duncan since he has experience and knows how to win, but the team would probably be the best in the East if we had one of these guys.

He could play alongside Dirk or replace Dirk or whatever. He could bang inside and get buckets like that for us when our shooting isn't going well. I like our front court right now. I think a back-up point guard is more important now to keep our offense going.</div>That's what Leandro and Banks are for.Garnett would be phenomenal with Amare' and Diaw, along with Bell and Nash... The Suns would nearly be a lock for a Championship if it were to happen.

Without Eddie House's shooting the team is doing even worse without Nash then last year. A point guard is a bigger need. I wouldn't complain about Dwight Howard or Garnett though, of course...
One player for the Bucks? Hmm...probably Shawn Marion, he would be the perfect pick at SF. He can defend, score, rebound, block, steal and play good defense. I'd love to have that guy with Redd and Villanueva.
If I could have one player on this team, it would be Michael Redd. His ability to hit the outside shot would open up alot for this team It is what the Magic have been missing, and desperately need, is an outside shooter. Redd is young, athletic, can shoot and open up room for the teamates. A starting five of Nelson at point, Redd at the two, Hill at the 3, Battie at the 4, and Howard at the 5 would be nice, with Hedo Turkoglu, Carlos Arroyo, Keith Bogans, Trevor Ariza, Darko Milicic, and Keyon Dooling coming off the bench. That is a dangerous team, especially in the east where there are few very good teams.

Probably Steve Nash, Jason Kidd, or Baron Davis on the Lakers... a solid starting pg is really necessary if we wanted to take our game up. Someone who can really pass the ball.Smush is nice, just not starting material.EDIT - How could I forget CP3?!
A dominant big man who can post up and play D. I'm thinking Tim Duncan he would fill in great Wiz could move down Jamison to SF and Caron to the two gaurd.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Diawsome @ Dec 1 2006, 01:55 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I would take Dwight Howard. An athletic big who can rebound, block shots and provide some much needed defense. Not to mention the effect Nash would have on his offensive game :worthy:</div>Omg wtf. Why didn't I think of that lol. I wasn't thinking in terms of everyone, just like mid-skill-level players. Dwight's my pick too.

And we've been pretty damn good this year if you ignore the first four games.
For the Spurs, give me Carmelo. He has a great mid range game which the spurs dont have, it covers up our weakest position, it gives us youth, and we gain one of the best scorers in the NBA. I would say Lebron James obviously but he is the 2nd best player in the game....Our team has so many defenders, that I would love to just get an offensive minded player.
Pistons: Dwight HowardI would have said Tim Duncan, but we need youth. Our center position is our weakest. Dwight would fix that up in a jiffy. His power, his post defense, and his potential would help us now and the near future.
Chris Paul would be good to have on the Suns. I am sure he would like the run-n-gun style of play we got here, and he would be amazing for when Nash needs to take a break since he is a true point guard and playmaker like Nash is. Besides all that, Nash wouldn't have to play so long and strain his back as much if we had Paul to come in.
Dwight Howard. We need a big guy and I think with Howard on are team we could own everyone. Lol, well we may need some luck also.
