It's funny how a bunch of people who aren't black (a few who just don't like black people for being black) come in here to discuss these issues.

Then when someone black gives their perspective he's whitesplained to instead of listened to.

My grandpa grew up in Chicago during this time. Was jumped by two black kids for being white. Was very racially divided from the stories he tells

 

Nobody brings it up because you have to look at statistics. White people make up 70 percent of this country. Black people make up 13 percent. Given those percentages it should be alarming that black on black crime is that insane statistics wise and shouldn't be so surprising on the other side because there are a lot more white people.

You have to understand the reason for those numbers. The country is still LARGELY segregated. The reason for the 93% and 94% numbers is simply due to proximity.

But people will use those numbers as a cudgel to whitesplain what we need to do to fix our communities. The numbers show their assertions fly in the face of reality.

 

I'm pretty positive nobody on this forum dislikes black people. And you aren't "whitesplained" to. I give you real statistics that make sense. Black on black crime is a real problem in this country. I have no issue with black people I just think it's hypocritical the many that get upset over a few cop killings a year can't get upset over the few that happen each weekend in just one part of America. Chicago. So do black lives really matter to this organization? I never see it talked about, people choose to ignore it. You need to learn that not every white personal talking to you is "whitesplaining", that's a cop out. Imagine every time you replied to me about white people I said it was "blacksplaining". You would claim racist on that. I'm just talking people in general, there seems to be an issue with minorities and crime across the globe. Not saying white people dont kill each other because that definitely happens but when you look at pure numbers, it's really high for minorities especially given how many make up the country. Nothing racist about that. I'm not saying all black people or all Mexicans. I'm talking specific groups in specific sections of the states.

I'm not saying what those communities need to do. I have no advice on that. It's a lost cause. They murder each other in those communities and don't care. Nobody else cares. No, that's covered all the time, anytime that happens. 13 percent of blacks make up this country. 70 percent of whites. Look at the numbers from there. It should be alarming to the nation as a whole that the black on black crime numbers are so high. Crime I see gonna happen. There are fucked up people everywhere of all races. The issue is there seems to be this bloating number among the minorities when it comes to crime, murder. Now if you wanna make up the excuse that it's because these are poor neighborhoods or it's just white people, go ahead and be ignorant about it. It would be a typical Portland answer anyway. I'm just surprised black lives matter doesnt wanna talk about it. They ignore issues within their own communities because it doesn't fit their agenda that blacks are these target of whites which has no truth to it at all. Anyways I don't know if that number is true, haven't done my research enough on it but I know white people also get killed by cops, I just think it's higher percentage if you're black or some shit. But I mean yeah surprise white people get killed by cops too. You were too busy playing victim to even realize, black people aren't hunted like you thought
