If you were Danny, who would you trade for an All-Star?

Yeah wouldn't make sense for Memphis. If they could move Pierce though for a Gasol type 27ish years old or younger..I think that would be a better move then trading their youngins. Then again with a top 3 pick and the big possibility of landing an Oden, I think they'd be smarter to stand pat. They committed to youth why go back on it now?

We have so many options, this is why I'm so excited for this offseason. If we get Oden or Durant, that's obviously unbelievable. If not, we have the most valuable expiring contract (Theo Ratliff has $12M expiring after this upcoming season) and plenty of young players to package for a very good veteran. Will KG ask out? Gasol? Jermaine? Who knows? If so, we are the perfect trading partner.

Best case scenario... and this IS possible... we get either Oden or Durant in the draft then we package Ratliff/Green/future pick or 2/1-2 young players for a star. That is wishful thinking, but it is not as ridiculous as it looks.
