I think he wanted the drama over so the team can start getting all it's eggs in one basket.

Fucking dumb. Shit team with a great goalie. Rangers recipe for not winning a cup for the last two decades.

Probably about 8 million too much but he is money in the playoffs. Drury is starting to execute a plan quickly. Let’s see if it works.

It's alot, but goalies at his level are hard to come by. Now they can start reshaping things around him.

Shesterkin is the best playoff goalie in the world by a lot. However this contract will be a total failure if they don’t find a way to play fucking team defense, they may have to hire a coach like Tippet.

I would have drawn the line at $11M per as I have been saying, so I don't love it. With that said, I'm not going to completely flip out over an extra 500 K and a cap hit of $11.5M for 8 years, especially after Drury traded Trouba's full $8M.

Trading Trouba and re-signing Igor needs to be the start though, if there is more to come it could make me feel better about Igor's deal. The next steps will dictate things.

I said they'll have 3 new dmen for next season, now one is gone. I expect Lindgren to be the next gone before the trade DL. Then we'll see what Drury does with Miller/Fox and if one of them goes as well.

They need a better blend of quickness and size on the team. Some grit too might help. The 4th line could be a little better so i think they may address that by the DL. I still think they end up with Vatrano and another dman obviously to replace Lindgren. I'd doubt Miller moves this season but who knows.

This shithead better be worth it. I wouldn't sign him and trade his ass.
