I love Westbrook's game. Hate him, but love his skill. So he is a shooting guard who runs the point. He has the skills to do it. Both offensively and defensively. If OKC was a big market team he, Durant and Hardin would be sizing up multiple rings. But fuck him. The Blazers kicked their ass after he flexed his muscles in the 3rd. It was a punk move. And yes the flopping was out of control in the first half.

Westbrook was dog-tired after burning through Lillard and everybody else for three quarters. Of course he's going to wear down and start missing some shots eventually. But the guy was so much better than Lillard in the first half that they didn't even belong on the same court.

It's a 48 minute game. Lillard did what it took to win. Westbrook burnt out himself in the first half and wasn't able to deliver when it mattered It's not where you start. It's where you finish. And the game wasn't even close. The goal is to WIN, not put on a first half show and then take the rest of the game off.
...Westbrook's stats were inflated by all of the phantom whistles he was getting in KD's absence. Yeah he is fast. Yeah he plays hard. But no, he is not clutch.
