    But did we just get bought out? Or is Sly now the new sports editor for Willamette Week?

    And I love the historical articles (though if I'd never again thought about Qyntel and Ruben, it may be too soon), but was there a reason for it? 20th anniversary or something?

    Reason for these types of hstorical pieces about of Portland:

    Walton Era: "I hate your team doctor. Fuck you. I'm leaving."

    Drexler: "I can't win a championship here. Fuck you. I'm leaving."

    Sabonis: "I'm coming. 'I'm going." "I'm coming." "I'm going."

    Roy: "My cartilage is all gone. I'm fucked. I'm leaving."

    Aldridge: "I'm a pampered prima donna. Fuck you. I'm leaving."

    There isn't a single historical era of the Blazers we can look back and be nostalgic upon. It always ends badly. And the rather polarizing nature of local journalism won't really find a narrative fans agree upon. They all have their agendas and POVs. They just release different articles on different eras based on whatever topic is hot.

    I have a coworker that has never lived in this state and has apparently taken to some sort of vitamin wtf pills or something. As a longtime Oregon resident, I'm curious, should all the forum members be taking something so we aren't so sad? Or is it really the Trailblazers that are causing this serious heartbreak?
