I haven't seen either of them play.

The CJ draft pick? The Leonard draft pick? Signing Wright? Targeting Hawes? In his short time here he's made some bad/questionable decisions.
With that said, I do think he's done a pretty decent job and I'm not looking to replace him.

Third major player is doubtful. Just really hard to find and get to sign on the dotted line in PDX.

I'd rather they re-sign everyone and hope that some veteran with a little game left can come here on league minimum or MLE type deal to help us get over the top.

Seems too risky to give up on both Matthews and Lopez in order to chase a UFA who may or may not be an upgrade for us.
Only exception to this would be Mark Gasol, but I doubt he leaves Memphis. And that would leave us without Matthews and Lopez to make it work.

I just hope they can keep the starting five together. I haven't liked a starting five this much - both performance wise and personality wise - since Clyde, Terry, Jerome, Duck and Buck. Just continue to build a decent bench around them and I'll be happy.

But the summer is a long way off and not really worth worrying about at the moment.

This! I absolutely love the entire starting 5. I don't want any of them gone

I'm concerned about this growth on my left butt cheek.

If (and a big huge if) SAS would do the kawhi -for-Nic swap, I wouldn't burn the place down. Same if Lopez somehow for traded with spare parts for Hibbert. But I don't see is being huge UFA players, unless they do the 1 yrR balloon cap increase this summer

IMO, we aren't going to improve through free agency - improvement will have to come through trades.

I hear there's no cure for that but you might switch to boxers for comfort

In the west, I'm not sure internal growth is going to be enough. Aldridge and Dame are a great combo, but do we have the supporting cast to win a championship?

Perhaps. I'm not sure I'm sold. It's going to be a dogfight just to get back to the second round.

I do agree the West is much tougher, but I like our chances in the playoffs. Our starting 5 can play with the best of any other starting 5 and rotations go 8 players in the playoffs.

If T. Rob plays junk yard dog, Kaman is still the Kaman we know and Blake is doing what is required at backup pg, I like our chances

From what I've seen around the league, the Bulls or Warriors are my biggest worry

You know what I'm really concerned with? The hunger of this team. We are in a position to win it all. It's not bullshit. These guys are really good.

The problem is, will they be hungry enough to win it all? If they hustle, be energized and trust each other; the sky is the limit.

There is not a single team on this planet I fear if this team is running on all cylinders. It's the coach's job to keep them hungry.

Our defense right now is pretty sweet, being the only team so far this season to keep Golden State under 100. I expect us to do the same with Dallas.

After tonight's game, if they are coming to play, will make believers of you all.

Looking at the list of Free Agents, Centers the only upgrades over Robin (in terms of moving the needle) are Gasol and maybe Monroe... again we would have to renounce everyone after Lamarcus to make that happen . At shooting guard I am not sure there is an upgrade at the 2 in free agency.
