    I'll be honest, I had to bail after a few episodes because it was coming out as my life was getting turned upside down, howevah! I did watch the first four (?) episodes and absolutely loved them. It was a revelation seeing a trans woman getting a budget to cast a trans woman as a trans woman and then give her a loving relationship with another woman, and then to also have so much cool ass-kicking. The sci-fi elements were good, it was very JMS and very Wachowski! Still looking forward to finishing it when I find the time.

    That lady must've been used as a tackling dummy for a high school team when she grew up.

    And I don't mean that in a weird sexual reference either. It's obvious she's taken many hits the old melon, and has pickled her brain to the point where she thinks any of what she said makes any sense.

    These are pretty basic fascist tactics: they found the perfect Scapegoat for the 2020s, after working their way through a few over the last five years. Now they can blame us for everything, and because of the added bonus of transition, they can also blame everything for creating us.

    Basically, they’re boiling it down to “trans people are a Jewish plot to create antifa pedophile soldiers to take over the world.” It’s a distillation of the last eight years of Q, incoherent and potent.

    It's outrageous that so many rape kits remain unprocessed in Florida

    It is a tragedy that Florida has at least 13,000 rape test kits that have not been processed - with more than 1,300 from Jacksonville alone.

    It is also a public danger.

    The scary truth is that all across Florida, Northeast Florida and Jacksonville, there are serial rapists roaming among us - free to continue committing crime after crime because they haven't even been identified, much less arrested.

    Many of them are serial offenders who surely would be caught simply by testing the rape kits, which can reveal DNA evidence that can be used to identify and catch them.

    The thousands of rape test kits that remain unprocessed across Florida must be tested.

    And Florida must also put clear procedures in place to eliminate the prospect of a similar outrage being repeated.

    During a recent session with the Times-Union editorial board, District 11 State Rep. Janet Adkins powerfully summed up why every Floridian must demand this state never again have huge volumes of evidence linked to sexual assaults - one of society's most serious crimes - sit backlogged on shelves for months and years.

    Dodgers rescinded their invitation to Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence to participate in Pride Night after Marco Rubio complained. A senator from Florida.

    Dodgers said it was due to the strong feelings of bigots. It has been pointed out that many had strong feelings that Jackie Robinson should not be allowed to play Major League baseball.

    The Sisters raise thousands of dollars for charities annually. They have personally cared for people with AIDS whose Christian families threw them out.

    Unlike the church, no Sisters have molested children.
