As far as I understand "butthurt" has not generally been considered an insult here, so much as a description of the labeler's perception of the labelee's reason for posting responding in a certain way, ie, that the person is upset about a certain set of circumstances and is subsequently responding emotionally and/or illogically as a result. The post impugning HCP's intelligence, however, should probably be addressed. Any others you see that I'm missing?
Thanks for the clarification. An insult is only one if it is intended as such. I always take a man at his word when trying to understand such intentions or lack of intention.

Their lack of belief in global warming is what baffles me the most. Do they not believe that in the past few decades, we've been churning out CO2 faster than the Earth can take back in? Do they not believe that we're adding CO2 to our atmosphere? Or do they not believe in the greenhouse effect? I don't understand which one of those they believe is a lie.
